Grammophone is a powerful visual and sound performance by Emilia Badalà. So, when she asked to me to interact with her work I was really worried, because I thought this interaction could became a kind of invasion or interference, so I tryied to keep some clear limits between these two worlds. Butoh deconstruction of movement could stole too much attention from those glass disks rotating on the grammophones or standing on the night blu fabrics waiting to be choosen by Emilia in the role of a strange steampunk dj. That's why I tryied to define a complementary charachter coming from an alien nature instead of an old thecnology. And I tryied to destroy my will to move or follow that strange ritmically interrupted coloured noise, becoming a puppet in the hand of Emilia. To do this I asked to my favourite puppet to teach me what I needed to know...
